Wellmaster
is the world's premier flexible rising main. Apart from being the world's
first bore drop hose of its type, it has 15 years of proven field experience.
It now continues to offer superior quality as its main feature.
The heart of Wellmaster is a continuous woven circular sock of high
modulus synthetic yarn. It provides both the tensile and burst strength
to enable the riser to be used at depths of 200 metres, and beyond in some
cases, without the need for any other support system. The continuous sock
is fed through an extruder with anvil and the polymer elastomer coating
is injected through the sock to form both the inside and outside coatings.
The inside coating, of course, makes the riser water-proof, while the outer
coating provides protection for the all important inner sock. The polymer
elastomer is used for a high abrasion resistance and in fact is the same
elastomer used to coat steel pipes when abrasive slurries are being pumped.
The benefits to be gained from using Wellmaster
are many and varied. As a result of its long life expectancy, it continues
to provide financial bonuses for many years.
The Wellmaster family of products currently consists
of three ranges:
-
The premier rising main in the world market. It is
suitable for bore depths to 200 metres (and beyond in suitable conditions)
with a working pressure to 258 metres. Sizes currently range from 50mm
to 150mm nominal internal diameter.
-
Ideal for shallower bores but with the same benefits
and features as its famous brother. WM120 is suitable for bore depths to
120 metres and working pressures to 150 metres. Sizes currently range from
50mm to 100mm nominal internal diameter.
-
Widely used in low yielding bores in small communities
and rural water supply applications. WM100 is suitable for bore depths
to 120 metres and working pressures to 150 metres. Available in 38mm nominal
internal diameter only.
